Invitation

Picture
Knottie Drickasmokey03 posted this on her bio and I had to steel it. Here is the link of instructions. http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/06/09/crafting-the-invitation-part-i-diy-pocketfolds/

I used Stardeam Flame Metallic paper. Im ordering 12 x 18 sheets from paperworks.com I can get 3 6x12 folds on 1 sheet. The remaining folds will be used for my programs. And I can get 18 pockets on one sheet so I will only need an additional 10 sheets for the pockets. The backing is from C&P. The wrap around labels are the same custom design as the backing except I ordered it on text weight paper. I would've ordered the belly bands and cut them down but it was cheaper for me to cut the paper myself. I want the same pattern on my envelope to tie the invitation together.

I got custom stamps from pictureitpostage.com and labels from labelsbythesheet.com

Card Box

Picture
I ended up changing my mind about the type of cardbox I wanted. I purchased document frames by accident, but I made it work.  I don't like the padded fabric tops so I used foam board and covered it with the same custome paper from cards and pockets that i am using throughout my wedding. I used the road to the aisle instructions.

Save the Dates - In the mail

Picture
I purchased the magnet from www.freshimpressions.us . I used a removable glue dot to stick it onto the pack of a card where I used the popular Save The Date poem and added the last 2 lines. I made the wrap around labels and printed them on sticker paper. My return address and our monogram are on the back. Our monogram is also a watermark behind the poem.

It still maybe early, but we hope you’re delighted
Cause we set the date and are very excited!
In July 2011 our vows will be made
Sunday the third is the day to be saved.
Our wedding day is approaching and we cannot wait
So put this magnet on the fridge and be sure to save the date.
No need to be patient and wait for the invite

Kiddie Activity Book

Picture
Here is my Kid's activity book. I did a google search and got different pages from all over the place. I did create my own word search and crossword puzzle on http://www.discoveryeducation.com/free-puzzlemaker/?CFID=11294184&CFTOKEN=44100307

Aisle Runner

Picture
I used these instructions as a guide but learned a few things after doing my moms.
http://roadtotheaisle.blogspot.com/2007/07/diy-aisle-runner.html
1) I put the monogram down, then wax paper then the runner (Taping each layer)
2) I did not trace in pencil
3) I put tape in random blank space between the each layer so it wont slip and the paint won't smear underneath

I kept the c&p swirl print throughout all my paper.

Favors: clear bookmarks (to hold photobooth prints); photostrip of family photos. They included FI's son. It says at the bottom "
Thank You
The Brooks Family

Table Numbers: same paper as invitations

Escort Cards: Folded tent cards with same swirl print.
